Are you feeling creative?

Fancy a years worth of coffee and cake?

Could you think of a great name for The Dock’s Café Bar?

The Dock’s Café Bar will reopen on 2nd February and we would like a new name to celebrate.

With the well known faces of Carrick on Shannon’s own Davy Davis and Andy Neenan at the helm, The Dock Café Bar is the perfect spot to relax with a specialty coffee and some delicious home made cake, catch up with friends for a drink at a gig or browse its selection of books after a wander through the galleries.

Aswell as that warm fuzzy feeling of pride to see your chosen name above the door you will also receive a free coffee and cake every week for a whole year!

Post your answers through to Michelle Dillon, The Dock, St Georges Terrace, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim.

Email them to mdillon (at) leitrimcoco (dot) ie

You can also tweet your answers to us or comment on our facebook page if you wish!

Closing date is 11.59pm, 21st January 2010.

Good Luck!

The BackRoom Bar Cafe cardless loyalty card scheme!

April 8, 2009

We think loyalty card schemes are great…everyone loves rewards…so we launched our own one in The Back Room Bar Cafe – for every fifth cup of coffee you buy you can indulge your sweet tooth with a free cake of your choice.

But we got thinking about loyalty cards and, well really, they are just another thing to look after and remember (and to loose!) and if its your reward we want to make it as hassle free as possible so “drumroll please” let us introduce – The BackRoom Bar Cafe Cardless Loyalty Card Scheme! Ok not the snappiest of titles but basically how it works is you sign up simply by going into the Bar Cafe and giving Davy your name and email address (or mobile number or postal address if you want) and then whenever you order a coffee just mention it to Davy and he will keep a record of it and inform you when you are entitled to your sweet treat…easy…

Oh and aswell as that The Leitrim Design House are offering a free cup of coffee and cake with every €30 spent.
